So basically you’ll receive a free £1 credit for each £20 you load onto your card, which works out to a 5% reward! Instead of paying with cash or card, load money onto your bonus card and use that to pay in-store instead. It is definitely one of the best value-for-money supermarket reward programs available.
Just be aware that you cannot get a refund for money loaded onto the bonus card. So I recommend loading cash onto the app the same day you’ll be going grocery shopping, as then you’ll know how much you have available to spend. Plus members get exclusive access to some special rewards, so you can save money over non-members.
Whilst this might take some time to build up, if you were to spend on average £200 a month with Iceland on your groceries you’d get £10 free in groceries a month. This might not sound much on a monthly basis but that’s £120 a year!

Once you get 8 points, they can be redeemed for any free hot or iced handcrafted drink. I recommend using them for things like hot chocolates, lattes, and frappuccinos. Always make sure to ask for the largest drink available, as it’s still free. But they may charge you for things like marshmallows.
By being a member you also get regular offers. You normally have to use these on a Friday, such as 50% off food or a free drink whenever you purchase a handcrafted drink. Plus you’ll get free dessert on your birthday. They’ll send you through an offer via email, which appears in the app and can be redeemed on your birthday for free cake.
